Fo Shou, Buddhas Hand
Buddha's Hand / / Fo Shou / / 2018
Wuyi Rock Tea or Yancha
From Da shui keng, Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province, China.
This tea is organically grown!
This tea has large dark auburn twisted leaves. The cup is a bright amber colour, with a clean and thick tea soup. To taste, a well rounded roasted warmth with pear aromas. The flavour notes are complex through infusions with warmth and depth of flavour running throughout. A truly excellent tea!
Harvested in Spring '18 by the Chen Family. The leaves have then undergone a medium roasted bake following traditional techniques, carefully and skilfully processed over June/July '18 in Wuyishan.
This Wuyi grown Fo Shou tea differs from the tea of the same name from Yongchun County, The cultivars leaves are thought to be as big as Buddha's-hands, hence the name Fo shou ~ Buddha's Hand.
