Named after the appearance of the finished leaves. The leaf, bright golden with soft young details. Creating a sweet, smooth tea soup with an aroma of honey. Good body to the tea with a long lasting flavour, good through many infusions. Early spring top buds picked to create this most excellent tea!
Grown at around 900m. Harvested in Spring '19 by the Chen Family using traditional methods, carefully and skilfully processed.
Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 85-90*c // 300ml
Time 2-3 minutes
Reinfuse leaves x 3 to personal taste
*Recommended without milk
Brew Guide - Gong Fu Style:
Water per 100ml
At 100*c for the rinse & 1st infusion,
95*c for the following 3 infusions,
90*c when the leaves have fully opened up.
Time 20 seconds + recommended but adjust to personal taste.
