We specially comissioned these as part of a range of tea tools made by Rosie.
Made from a single piece of oak, a satisfying contrast of colours and wood grain. Beautifully tactile to hold and perfect for use, the measuring of Matcha, being used in the transfer of tea powder from caddy to bowl. An essential tool as part of Chanoyu for creating your personal tea ceremony experience or Chakai, an informal tea gathering.
Rosie is a Devon based designer-maker specialising in unique wooden kitchenware. The pieces she creates are thoughtfully considered, minimalistic and sleek, taming the wildwood for modern lives.
Chashaku Care Guide:
Wash gently with warm water and detergent.
Avoid leaving to stand in a puddle.
When dry, rub in a small amount of olive oil to prevent wood drying out.
Approximate measurements: 1.5cm width x 17.5cm length.
