Walnut & Maple Tongs by Rosie Brewer
Walnut & Maple Tongs / / by Rosie Brewer
We specially comissioned these as part of a range of tea tools made by Rosie.
These tongs are beautifully tactile to hold and perfect for use.
Their intended use is for handling tea cups or gaiwan after warming and washing the vessels, to pour away water. Or sometimes used to sort or inspect dry and wet tea leaf.
The tongs are a satisfying contrast of wood colours and grains with a decent width and flex, making for efficient use.
Rosie is a Devon based designer-maker specialising in unique wooden kitchenware. The pieces she creates are thoughtfully considered, minimalistic and sleek, taming the wildwood for modern lives.
Tongs Care Guide:
Wash gently with warm water and detergent.
Avoid leaving to stand in a puddle.
When dry, rub in a small amount of olive oil to prevent wood drying out.
Approximate measurements: 2-4cm width x 18cm length.
