Grown in Qimen county the western part of southeastern Huangshan City prefecture. A prefecture which also famously produces Maofeng Green tea and Huangshan Yellow teas. Black tea in Qimen has a fairly recent origins being first produced in the 19th Century from similar plant cultivars as Maofeng.
