Medium sized twisted dark leaves, rich brown burnt colour to the cup, fairly heavy campfire smokiness, flavours of peat, wood and tabacco notes and spice to taste. The leaves are smoked over Pine tree roots to achieve the classic heavier Tarry flavour.
Traditionally Lapsang Souchong has its origins in the Wuyi region of Fujian Province, this tea is grown and processed in neighbouring Guangdong Province.

Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 100*c // 300ml
Brew time 2- 3 minutes
Reinfuse leaves to personal taste
