Large Peppermint leaves, with a decent amount of full leaves and few stems. A combination of twisted and curled, muted greens and soft browns with a downy silver in appearance. Giving cool, fresh aromatic scents, greenish yellow colour to the cup with a high menthol flavour with sweet notes and a calming, relaxing lasting freshness. Beneficial as an evening drink or after dinner.
Peppermint, Mentha piperita, is a herbaceous plant with a pale lilac flower that is part of the Lamiaceae family, Mint, Sage or Deadnettle family. Similar to that of Rosemary, Basil or Thyme. That naturally grow across Europe, North America & Asia. It has been recognised as a source of menthol and menthone and is one of the ancient herbs used for culinary and medicinal uses. Peppermint is well known to aid digestion and help as a relaxant, also subtle pain relief effects.
