Silver Needle / / Bai Hao Yin Zhen
From Fuding, Fujian Province, China.
Silver Needle is regarded as China's finest tea. With delicate, plump, silvery, soft buds that creating a soft and gentle infusion. The tea soup is a light pale infusion, giving a subtly floral aroma with a pleasant creamy mouthfeel.
Being the highest grade of White tea, only the freshest, newly formed unopened buds are hand picked from the tea plant, still with a silver downiness. High grown in the mountains bordering Fujian & Jiangxi Provinces, with an early season harvest very and little processing just picked and then slowly sun dried in Fuding.
Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 80*c // 300ml
Brew time 2 minutes
Reinfuse leaves x 2 / 3 to personal taste
Like with many White teas the flavours within the leaves become more pronounced as the water temperature cools.
