High grade olive green rolled leaves, giving a yellowish brown coloured cup with a very pleasant mellow yet flavourful taste. Quite aromatic, hints of smoke.
Zhu cha from the Chinese translates as pearl or bead tea. In English, the name Gunpowder comes from the appearance of the leaves thought to resemble pellets of Gunpowder which unfurls on infusion to reveal lovely large leaf.
This type of tea is the most consumed in the world, an absolute classic!
Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 80°C // 300ml
Brew time 2 minutes
Reinfuse leaves 2 / 3 times to personal taste
