Large dark twisted leaves with greyish brown hues with coppery flecks. The wet leaves give very sweet aromas, revealing brighter copper, orange and golden tones to the leaf. A quality thick golden tea soup. Giving bright sweet aromas and deep flavours of ripe peach with natural tones. Long lasting flavours with no astringency, good through many infusions!
One bud and two leaves standard picking. Harvested in Spring '20 by the Chen Family using traditional unsmoked methods, carefully and skilfully processed retaining natural aromas.
Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)
Water 85-90*c // 300ml
Time 2-3 minutes
Reinfuse leaves x 3 to personal taste
*Recommended without milk
Brew Guide - Gong Fu Style:
Water per 100ml
At 100*c for the rinse & 1st infusion,
95*c for the following 3 infusions,
90*c when the leaves have fully opened up.
Time 20 seconds + recommended but adjust to personal taste.
