A rare, large whole leaf, late summer second flush Assam. Impressive long, twisted leaves similar in size to that of dark oolong. Blue grey and tippy golden in colour. Giving a unique bold flavour that is highly aromatic and floral compared to typical strong malty aromas and flavour of other large leaf Assams. It also has a deep golden colour in the cup and a sweet taste with touches of maltiness, the sweetness of this tea is reminsant of sweeter, delicate Chinese black teas.
