A large whole leaf blend of Chinese, Indian & Nepalese teas create a delicious & well balanced golden, red cup. Rich + smooth flavours with strength to match.

Based in Exeter we created this blend as the perfect companion to our counties tradition of Devon Cream Tea & fine Afternoon Teas.

Afternoon tea blends are lighter in experience than robust breakfast teas. Often boasting less tannins for a smoother & more mineral rich cup that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of cakes.

Devon Cream Teas are thought to have originated in the 11th century by the Benedictine monks in Tavistock serving guests & travellers bread, cream & jam -
whilst Afternoon tea as a small meal became popular in London during the 19th century to fill the industrial revolution fuelled growing gap between lunch & dinner.

From modest beginings these two traditions have both grown into elaborate celebrations of tea & cake alike.

Over the last 10 years we have developed our own recipes for 7 of the most loved British favourites, carefully selecting large leaves + balancing natural flavours to create fine whole leaf artisan blends of classic essential brews.

Our small collection of classic House Blends are all hand blended in super small batches, by just the two of us at our tiny tea boutique in Devon.

Tea 1 teaspoon (3g)

Water 100ºc // 300ml

Brew time 2-3 minutes

Reinfuse leaves to personal taste
