A balanced brew with a decent strength & maltiness, a hint of fruitiness + deep flavour that drinks well with a touch of milk, or without.

Our signature Jungle Brew blend. A classic, traditional English Breakfast Blend combining large high grade whole leaves from India, Africa & Sri Lanka, with a mix of bright colourful Devon grown calendulas.

English Breakfast Blends are varietas & plenty, characteristically malty & robust; Whilst drinking strong Black tea for breakfast is a long standing Britiah tradition the origin of the traditional blend is unknown. It appears in records from the 18th century + is rumoured to have come from America & popularised by Queen Victoria in the late 19th century.

Jungle Brew was our second ever blend, named from the ‘in the Jungle’ in our shop name & blended for flavour over blunt strength we choose delicious large leaves sourced from renowned Estates to make a high grade version of this familiar blend, & of course our unique recipe is closely guarded secret.

Over the last 10 years we have developed our own recipes for 7 of the most loved British favourites, carefully selecting large leaves + balancing natural flavours to create fine whole leaf artisan blends of classic essential brews.

Our small collection of classic House Blends are all hand blended in super small batches, by just the two of us at our tiny tea boutique in Devon.
