This tea is organically grown!

These large leaves have blackened brown hues and even coppery flecks of golden buds giving a light sweetness and subtle aromas of forest floor, damp moss and camphor. The damp leaves giving a bright and high fragrance akin to that of forest floor dampness, delicate camphor and light sweetness. A vivid rose colour to the tea soup with excellent clarity, pure and thick, giving a clean and smooth mouthfeel with ripe fruit notes, a woody camphor sweetness and mellow body making for a beautifully balanced, refreshingly quality shou puerh. Perfect for enjoying now or suitable to continue ageing.

Picked, processed in 1995 and compressed in a Tuocha shaped tea cake with a tightly compact nest form. Sourced and stored by Essence of Tea.

Brew Guide Per Cup:
Tea 1 teaspoon (3-4g)
Water 90*c // 300ml
Time 2 minutes
Re-infuse leaves to your personal taste
Brew Guide ~ Gong Fu Style:
Tea 3 teaspoons (8g of tea)
Water/Temp 100ml / 85*c
Brew time 1st a quick rinse of leaves, pour away, 15-20 seconds + for infusions thereafter
Re-infuse leaves to taste 4 - 6 times

Preparation:
With care, prise the tuocha apart using a sharp knife or pick. Gently prise the required amount of leaves from the tuocha, taking care not the break the leaves. Then separate into loose leaves, and you're ready to brew.ο»Ώ
