A stunning stoneware teapot with a satisfying full globe form, skilfully crafted with great care and consideration, good balance of weight and proportions that pours nicely. Crafted from Cornish stoneware clay that’s been gasfired with soda. Creating golden, burnt and earthy tones with a smooth texture and soft shine. A Ying Ching glaze inside with a fine crackle. The soda creating an intricate pattern and colour across the exterior surface.
Handmade and unique. Handwash recommended.
Bob Andrew is a South Devon based avocational potter. Working with clay since 2017, having studied with and worked alongside fellow Devon ceramicist ~ Cliff Ellis. Bob creates functional hand thrown stoneware pieces from his hand built kiln. Producing skilfully crafted work, full of unique intricate details and rustic charm.
